Homebodii started in 2012 on the Gold Coast with one idea: brides deserved something beautiful to get ready in. Everything since has grown from that.
Where it began
I was a model before I was a designer, so I'd spent a lot of mornings in dressing rooms watching what people wore before the outfit. Brides were the ones who had nothing. A hotel robe, a fiancé's shirt, something bought in a rush. In 2012 I made the first Homebodii bridal robes on the Gold Coast, and that pre-wedding moment is still the heart of the brand.
What we make now
Bridal and bridesmaid robes are still where we started, and we've added sleepwear, loungewear, intimates and pieces for mums and kids so a family can match on a Christmas morning or a wedding one. We use lace, chiffon, satin, Tencel, bamboo, cotton and linen, and our fabrics are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Embroidery is done here.

- Today: Our own boutique at Pacific Fair in Broadbeach, an online store shipping worldwide, and over 1,000 five-star reviews.
What hasn't changed
The customer is still someone getting ready for something. A wedding, a baby, a holiday, or just a Sunday. And I still check the embroidery.
What we give back
We support The Pyjama Foundation, which provides pyjamas and learning support to children in foster care in Australia, and Macleod Accommodation Support Service.
