A little about me...

My name is Jaclyn. I'm from New Jersey and I had a destination wedding! We still had our wedding in the US but at this beautiful newly built Italian Château Villa inspired venue in Georgia! This was the venue of my dreams!

Our approach to planning the wedding was...

Unique! I booked the venue just based on AI rendering photos LOL. Everyone asked why Georgia?! My response? You just have to see it and when the guests and all the people that asked why Georgia saw the photos they understood. My own husband didn’t get why there until we went down for their grand opening weekend!

Looking back on the day we are so glad that we…

Had a wedding planner! The venue was completely à la carte so having to plan a wedding out of state wasn’t the easiest hence the stress I was talking about early but my wedding planner truly helped me a lot shout out to @elizabethmargaretevents

When I look back on the day now I feel… 

If I could go back to this day there is nothing I would change. I say to everyone that asks how it was I would get married once a year (to my husband again obviously lol) if it didn’t cost so much money and wasn’t so stressful LOL!

A word of advice to new brides would be...

The day is about you two and you two only. Advice someone told me before my wedding day was if you’re nervous about walking down the aisle when those doors open just look directly at your partner and pretend no one else is there, it helped me so much!
